I am Mahmood Salah Haithami, a Computer Science graduate. My first exposure to coding was in 2008, when I developed a simple JAVA GUI app. I liked the concept of being able to instruct a machine to do what I wanted! I finished my Bachelor degree 
in Computer Science in Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan and followed by a Master degree 
from University of Malaya, Malaysia. Recently, I have obtained my PhD
from University of Nottingham, Malaysia.
My master dissertation was on Digital Image processing, meanwhile, my PhD thesis was on the application of Deep Learning (i.e., Artificial Intelligence) on Colonoscopy.
During the period of my academic period, I developed various applications using different languages such as JAVA
, C++, Python, MATLAB, JavaScript etc... . The purpose of this website is to demonstrate some of my recent work in an interactive manner.

Teach
Teaching is the process of transfering what you learned to others! It requires a deep understanding of the subject bieng conveyed. I learned this fact while I was teaching undergadute students from Univesity of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus. I was assigned as Teacher Assitant for a total of 3 years to the following subjects:
- Database
- Computer Fundamentals
- Digital Image Processing
- Linear Algebra
Research
Research occupied 4 years of my PhD journy. This resulted in examining the current literature of Deep Learning models (i.e., AI) applied to medical domain. Reading recent published papers enhanced my critical thinking skills and, accordingly I learned to find gaps and propose solutions. As a result, I published several papers. Develop
Various applications have been develeped during more than a decad of my life! I used different programming languages to develop different applications. Luckly! I was envolved as well in developing Deep Learning models (i.e., Artificial Intellegince). Demos can be found in the AI Projects section.
